From the use of PPE in the construction industry to employee safety
Ensuring Employee Safety The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on construction sites is essential for protecting workers against occupational risks and accidents. PPE includes safety helmets, safety footwear, gloves, respirator masks, safety goggles, safety harnesses, etc.
The construction industry is a high-risk sector in terms of occupational safety. Workers on construction sites face a variety of occupational hazards : falls from heights, slips and trips, accidents involving power and hand tools, risks associated with handling heavy materials, contamination risks, risks of cuts, burns, and injuries, etc.
Using protective equipment is an effective way to protect workers against these occupational hazards. However, simply providing PPE is not enough to ensure safety. It is crucial that employees are trained, ensure that the equipment is used correctly, and regularly monitor their use on construction sites.
